In Part One of "Cursing The Darkness", we meet Phillip - a vampire on the hunt. There's something not quite right with him, though, and he only reluctantly gives in to his blood lust. But when he does finally give in, will he be able to shut down the beast inside of him?
The first chapter of Ed's novel is a good lesson in creative writing, showing how to set the scene and gradually introduce the characters. The tone of this novel is dark and will make the back of your neck tingle with anticipation. The internal battle in some way reflects the conflict inside each and every one of us.
